Pfft, you first foolishly claimed "you absolutely need more than reasonable doubt." Prove it, I already know that's blatantly untrue.

I was told to leave a store not three weeks ago, and people are fired and students expelled for various reasons not proved every day, so clearly not.

The rule of law is in the courts.... and shouldn't be in my business, yours, or even in private university business. I don't need proof beyond a reasonable doubt to demand a customer leave my place of business, and neither do you. Nor should we.

Daily Camera.com: : Transportation engineers: Boulder\'s pre-\'right-sizing\' data collection \'better than normal\' - B

The program is designed to improve safety, regardless of whether bikes, heaven forbid, tip over and don't have airbags (or riders wear helmets). Still chuckling over that, too. You'd think you'd make a little sense. You are as logically impaired now as when you spent your days counting dog poop.

Deleting comments now as you did then, eh? Bikes tipping over? No air bags? Certainly not relevant to collecting data on "right-sizing." (You are as batcrap crazy now as you were dog poop crazy ten years ago.)

That's silly. When widening Folsom, do you think data was collected on the number of drivers wearing seatbelts? I'd say trading one obsession for another is more demonstrative of a sad existence.

I see you failed to refute that the data collection for "right-sizing" had nothing to do with wearing a helmet. Pointing out your fanatical obsession with dog poop was just, well, informative.

Daily Camera.com: : Boulder DA: Officer justified in shooting of CU student on LSD - Boulder Daily Camera

Q.E.D. More emotional appeals to deflect from the argument. That there were victims, or anyone might've been traumatized, officer included, aren't relevant to whether the kid should've been killed. (They also don't excuse the decision to kill him.)

The issue we're discussing (and from which you are deflecting) is whether the fact he cut someone earlier gives reason for shooting him later. (Again, of course it doesn't.) At the time he was killed the "imminent threat" was naked and alone on a balcony with a hammer, but I give you credit for tossing in assumptions to make your leap seem plausible. Had you or I shot him, we'd have a court date. So much for a higher standard.

Well that's even dumber than your first comment. One can advocate for the victim and still maintain the perpetrator should not have been killed in his subsequent arrest. I seriously doubt your ability to address the issue logically and not emotionally.

Any justification for his death would be from what acts occurred at the time of his death, not what was alleged to have happened earlier. What's ridiculous is you thinking it could be.

Still irrelevant to the subsequent death of this kid - and ride-alongs are mind-numbingly boring. Look up the definition of "hypocrite" then when you look in the mirror you'll see a little smarter idiot.

As a victim advocate for BPD for over 15 years, I've been on many a ride-along. It seems to me you've never been on one, having instead watched way too much TV yourself. In addition I find it appalling you feel not mentioning the victim of a non-life-threatening wound is relevant and somehow ameliorates this kid's subsequent death.

You'll note it was only one officer who fired his weapon, the others "waited." We have jury trials, not death squads so whether someone was cut earlier isn't relevant to his being killed later. Tell me if someone were standing on his balcony waving a hammer that, were you to kill him, you wouldn't expect to be charged and have your day in court.

Yes, and be sure to ask them to do it while standing alone on a balcony. That'd be some neat trick. Had the kid jumped off the balcony and not incapacitated himself or dropped the hammer in the process, then perhaps killing him would have been justifiable.

That remark shows just how uninformed you are of the Animas issue as well. The mine was draining hundreds of gallons of toxins a minute into the watershed and why the EPA was there (Durango Herald 9/27/14). Trout just recently made their way back to the upper stretch because the EPA and Colorado have been cleaning it up. https://www.hcn.org/articles/when-our-river-turne... http://www.kunc.org/post/why-was-environmental-pr...

If "drugs" includes legal substances used improperly, drinking and driving certainly qualifies. It isn't a grammatical issue but one of semantics. And, just as with pointing out any other error in an article, it is valid, and informative, whether or not the Camera does anything about it.

Watch his speech then argue why the "venue" would've been inappropriate. Loaded words like "coming out party" suggest you don't have a valid argument, as do the red herrings. (I simply questioned your logic and never so much as implied you were a bigot or a homophobe.) In simply declaring it inappropriate, seems to me the one being overly sensitive here is you. Try to make a case for why bringing up ones sexuality is "wrong" without the straw men, deflections, and circular reasoning.
