In that time I had the opportunity to strike up friendships with folks from the U.K. Although we may have at times disagreed on some politics, they all said the public health care system in their homeland STANK. They all agreed that although private health care may be flawed, it's better than state provided heathcare. Besides, when has the U.S. goverment ran anything well...for example; the post office, Amtrak...etc. Public health care would be run like VA health care, which is operated shamefully.
