West Ham Till I Die : West Ham 1 Wolves 3: Match Report

Not all fans hurl the abuse at the players at every possible opportunity. Not all fans boo players off the field. Not all players chant 'you'll be sacked in the morning'. Yet it's so frustrating that these idiots, who call themselves supporters, get on the teams back and make us true supporters look like tossers. Sure, it was a dire performance overall, but the team were up against it from the first minutes. When Tomkins made an individual error, every player on that pitch payed the price for it from the stands. Even Franco was boo'ed, regardless of the fact he was outstanding, and barely put a foot wrong. If some of you consider yourself supporters, how about showing the 'support'? Yes, the team appalling, but the abuse did little to encourage them. Btw, anybody able to shine some light on an alleged incident involving a confrontation between CC and a fan after the game?

West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Player Performances v Burnley

Green Faubert Upson Tomkins Ilunga Diamanti Parker Behrami Stanislas Mido Cole My team would be almost identical to yours, but I'd have a bit more width with diamanti and stanislas both very attacking players running the flanks. Not seen enough of Ilan yet, so I don't know whether I would prefer to have him or Mido up front. I think I saw pictures of Benni remaining on the bench for some time after the final whistle, I pray it's not another long-term injury. Whens Franco back btw?

Green 6 Faubert 9 Tomkins 7 Upson 5 Spector 7 Parker 9 Behrami 8 Collison 5 Noble 5 Cole 8 McCarthy 6 Subs: Stanislas 9 Mido 8 Ilan 8 I think that game shows just how important Diamanti is to the team. Nobody wanted to go forward, nobody knew who to the hell to get the ball to, had Diamanti been on that pitch, say whatever you want about him, there would have been more chances created for others or himself, more intent and more width. Faubert had a spectacular game, he was almost playing for two, right wing and right back.

I cant believe that everyone is forgetting about the talented youth we have. Up front we now have Carlton Cole, Franco and almost certainly McCarthy. That's good enough as three experienced strikers for me. And waiting in the wings are Nouble, Sears and Hines. That's six strikers in total competing for two places. Do we really need another? In all honesty I would have preferred one big name striker such as Gudjonsen or Huntelaar, instead of two fringe players. Lets say we have Cole, Franco, Benjani and McCarthy. Only two can play, two will be on the bench, leaving no room for Nouble, Sears or Hines, with enough competition between the four veterans as it is. Edit: Thanks Devo!

West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Which Bidder Do You Prefer?

Independant reports a source close to Cellino claims he is 99.98% sure to take over, while the Telegraph writes that Gollivan and Fernandes lead the race. Intermarket don't look out of the picture either. Bloomin heck, the more I read, the less I know.

I would say Intermaket for their commitment and hopefully ambition for the club with the ten year plan they have pledged. Surely they don't want to invest in a club, pledge their commitment and then see it target a mid-table finish each season. However, the funding and unaccountability concerns me. Who do we hold accountable for the future of the club, and will they have money for the transfers? For that reason I would have to say Fernandes. He's a safe bet, we know to look to, however I don't see great development at the club with him at the helm. I see a mid-table finish each season, however I don't think he will have the ambition and will take the risk of investing on players to get us into the top six. I really do hope he proves me wrong if he does take control. Gollivan, please move north and stay the hell away from West Ham. Have they not grasped, the fans don't want them. My message to them is to take on Charlton or crystal palace and try to spray magic dust on them like they did to Birmingham, but us west Ham fans deserve better than a guaranteed dull future of years on years of lack of investment and mid-table finishes. As for that Italian, he sends shivers down my spine. I don't want to think of it.

* We are about to re-sign Marlon Harewood. Yes, we might very well be resigning him. We NEED a striker, and we need one on the cheap. He's back in form, needs play time in the premier league and we need his services. * A fourth bidder has emerged for the club There may very well be. * We are going to sell Matthew Upson Yes, we are, if not this month, guaranteed in summer. Get it done while we can still get a fair price for him. * We have approached Stoke with a view to buying Robert Huth If Upson goes, of which there is a good chance, Huth could well be a possibility. Doesn't say we've sold Upson and bid for Huth, just say's we have enquired about his status. We need to consider our options and know where we stand if Upson does go. * Arsenal have bid £9 million for Carlton Cole So they might be bidding 9mil for him, they need a striker and pre-injury Carlton Cole was at the top of his game. Doesn't mean we are going to sell him for that much. * We are (again) trying to sign Eidur Gudjohnsen Eidur's dad/agent has heard nothing from West Ham regarding a possible move as of yet, however Eidiur is considering his options of a move in January from Monaco. * A C Milan are to bid for Alessandro Diamanti Not going to happen.

Still doesn't speak greatly if a player conducts himself in such a disgusting manner, regardless of the fact it was Upson, it was still one of ours in a west ham shirt. I for one won't be cheering his name when announced. As for Upson, I'd prefer him to leave, don't want someone at the club if he's not fully committed to it. Would prefer to have Tomkins leading the line instead of him any day of the week, since the lad's heart is in the club.

Hang on a minute, with all of these stories reporting West Ham enquiring about Robert Huth, wasn't he that dick who wacked one of our boys in the face last time we played stoke? Surely he wont get a kind reception at the Boleyn...
