Logical thought? You can't even grasp reality. He's been elected as a Republican, therefore he IS a Republican. You do know there are different types of Republicans, right? Probably not, come to think of it. After all, you think Mitt is conservative.

I was thinking the same thing, but didn't want to be called out as a conspiracy theorist. He/She/It (I think a combo of the last two)has been attacking people left and right, flinging insults like a monkey flings poo. I started to reply, but remembered a quote that was on my start page this morning:

Yes, I do. I don't know for sure, but I expect one of the reasons was his district was re-drawn. I can't remember all the particulars, but his district picked up some Dem. strongholds and it's predicted it will elect a Democrat for his seat. Texas gained four congressional seats and with the re-drawn districts, it's expected that the Dems will win them all.

For what it's worth, I also don't think he'll go 3rd party. Again, I don't know, but I imagine he knows it would make for a rocky road ahead for Rand.

Not me, Sub. I'm a Paul supporter. I was just cracking wise about the ludicrous "white power" comment. I don't want to vote f/ Newt or Mitt, but will if I have to. I do know one thing, I won't vote for Santorum. Funny how people level the racist charge at Paul, but excuse ol' Frothy's homophobia. It's also funny how people jump on Paul for earmarks when Newt was the biggest pork whore to ever serve in Congress.

I'd take up for the good doctor more, but I learned from Don Q. about tilting at windmills. I do appreciate your posts, though.
