KOMO - Seattle, WA : Ken Schram: \'Holy \'Uh-oh\'s,\' Batwoman!\' | KOMO News- Seattle, Washington| Ken Schram

While intense 'multiplying' is causing its own extremely severe problems worldwide... Love and physical affection visited upon another human being are condemned? Really? Doesn't seem to jive with the New Testament. Well, do I go around complaining openly and to the supporters and media about it? Do I attempt to legislate against Open Office behavior at home? Do I try and prevent behavior via laws and protests that WOULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFECT ME? No.

That's very sweet of you, but please, instead attend to more tangible and helpful things for the creatures upon this earth. Sustenance, care and shelter for the poor, preservation of habitat, a cure for malaria, perhaps? Thanks!

Ah thank you. Noting it is followed by 28...And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Would the one not guilty of any of these speak out against the 'sins' of affection and love for another human being?

Version, book & passage, please. Got enough of that when I was a kid, got better things to do on a Sunday. Especially since I'm an Atheist.

I get the same rap-though more for my passtimes than my job(sparrring, whitewater kayaking). My friends labeled me a "Straight bull dyke." I don't have a problem with it, though. We're helping to axe some of those stereotypes and serve as role models for all girls out there, you really can have any career you want, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'll bet you get a lot of respect, even if you don't know it.

I think when your kids hit puberty they'll have a pretty good handle on what they're sexually attracted to and what they aren't. Better you clear it up with them now as opposed to them learning about it behind closed doors with a "friend", or getting misinformed by their classmates. I have my doubts that they'll show anything your kids haven't seen before in a comic book, and you see girls kissin' all the time on network TV. ..You have to go into the back for the 'educational' ones.

If you actually READ the bible, NOWHERE does it mention lesbians or women being intimate with women. Lesbians are COMPLETELY off the hook. The part that does mention homosexuality is in Leviticus(OLD Testament) and it just says "Do not lie with a man as you would a woman, for it is an abomination." now, this can be interpreted to mean you shouldn't have anal sex with your wife. Then it goes on to talk about not eating shellfish. Homosexuality creeps you out, fine. I get really grossed out over plastic babies or Precious Moments figurines, so I don't have them in my house. I do NOT look for biblical justification to FREAK OUT. ...and I KNOW you straight christers are still having a wank about it once you go to bed after a day of mock outrage. Protesting Gay anything has closet case written all over it.

Most of the people there were cracker, some latinos, some native american. Maybe all the white people were illegal Canadians, right? ICE was there, they left us alone. If you've got a problem with illegal immigrants, don't hire them. I haven't seen any other way they can take advantage of the 'welfare system' outside maybe the food bank and ER. Everything else demands you give your SSN and other identification anyone could follow up on.

Out of thousands stopped? We're not even looking at a whole percentage point. The odds suck. There are FAR more effective and constitutional ways to go after undocumented people, WTF happened to investigative law enforcement?

Naaah. Only the second protest I've ever been to and most of the people I talked to there are voting third party. 'Twas good for the economy, I imagine, most of us were from out of town. Oh, and I'm registered republican, BTW.

I'd rather live with the threat of a terrorist attack and have undocumented immigrants freely traveling the US on my dime than live in a police state, thank you very much. My ancestors didn't fight and die for this country so we could be 'asked to see our papers'. If the Border patrol wants to stop people getting off the ferries from Canada, I think that's reasonable; but backing up traffic for miles and hours to question predominantly American citizens traveling within their own state is not something that should be taking place in a free country. As for "keeping us safe": Your CAR is a bigger threat to your security and safety than a bunch of overly religious Arabs. LIFE isn't safe. What happened to 'land of the free and home of the brave'? Who the heck ARE you people? The America I grew up in didn't have people handing everything over to some organization so they could stay 'safe'. The liberal peacenick treehuggers you see standing up for their civil liberties are more American than any flag-waving yahoo who gives up their constitutional rights in the name of 'safety'. If you want to lie your freedom down in exchange for a little 'security' lets look at what you're gambling on: Odds of dying in a terrorist attack WORLDWIDE: 1 in 88,000. 1 in 197 of dying in a homicide 1 in 299 of dying in an assault from a firearm 1 in 5,330 of dying in an assault by hanging or strangulation 1 in 207,261 in operations of war. Kudos to the Port Angeles police and the border patrol agents today for being so nice.
