I have a legit sim working on an iPhone 3g here in Mex, when yellowsn0w was first released (9.0) I got my iPhone to work with any other sim (telcel or mobistar), but then when 9.5 came out and the Dev Team suggested we should all upgrade, I did but my iPhone had some serious issues, it kept dropping signal as often as every half a minute for instance. Thus, I removed YS 9.5. However, being a very faithfull Dev Team follower I decided I had to give YW 9.6 a try, and EUREKA, it worked wonderfully!!! I seriously admire you guys!!!! Dank U wel!!!

I doubted updating yellowsn0w 9.0 since it had worked perfectly on my Iphone 3g 16gigs with the mexican TELCEL, alas I felt really tempted to do so when the Dev Team suggested it at the release of 9.5, and all I got was signal drop every half a minute. Now after a half an hour of toggling with the phone I have decided to remove the self injecting tool. I, having a legit sim, have full service of course, but was very pleased with the fact that I could switch sims (here in mexico I could use any movistar or other telcel sims), but not anymore. yesterday I unlocked 6 of my friends' iPhones got 2 working with Clara (argentina) and 4 with Telcel, I used the 9.4 release, I have already warned them NOT to upgrade to 9.5 until there are more ppl here that can confirm they got YS 9.5 unlock their gadgets and work with Telcel. Thanks Dev Team, I really appreciate your hard work and wits, even if 9.5 resulted in failure for me.

I'm on contract (mexico telcel) I used yellowsn0w 0.9 and it didn't brick my iPhone 3g I can now insert any sim and it will pick up signal, make/receive calls, and so on. If you really want to try then do it, I love testing all the new shit that comes up on cydia and for instance, I can check out new apps downloading a crack (there are many sites out there) before spending my money on some shitty one. One more thing, dude you have caps lock and it seems like you are screaming, PLEASE use caps lock only when you want to emphasize.
