Exactly. That's why I pretty much stick with Medium Cover when I'm not blitzing (unless it's 4th and long or something). I'm not really expecting them to patch this game, though -- seemed like they put out that roster update and were like "okay, that's it, we wash our hands of this."

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it so far, but they need to do something about the lack of RB coverage -- it's like Madden 10 at launch before the first patch. I love the idea of random powerups being duds, too. Just when you think you've got the upper hand and are set for a huge play, you get screwed.

Totally agreed, man. I stopped following @2KSports because I was sick of them spamming my feed with retweets of idiots who were like "OMG son 2K is da truth! Way betta than that Live crap!" Ugh. If you have confidence in your game -- and really, 2K has no reason not to -- you shouldn't have to belittle the competition like that.

Great write-up, man. Interestingly enough -- though I've spent a lot less time with the game than you have, maybe only 5 hours -- I feel pretty much the same way. I'm playing on PS3, and the same issues are present with replays cutting off and holding on FGs. I suffered two straight holding calls; what basically amounted to a chip shot turned into a 51-yarder that I was lucky to hit (clear weather), but then, Lawrence Tynes isn't known for his strong leg. I also wish they'd take after EA Canada and implement the same replay camera/save/upload system as NHL 09. Being able to cut your own highlights is so awesome, and being limited to one camera angle in Madden sucks. Otherwise, though, I'm really enjoying the gameplay so far; I'm feeling addicted, just like you are, and I haven't felt that way since Madden NFL 2005 on the PS2.
