/Film : What If Critics Weren't Allowed to See the End of a Film?

professional journalist critics, the one's we all hear about from Rotten Tomatoes and such, always publish their reviews before the movie comes out, so they are more like recommendations. critical analysis of films after the fact should be made on websites like this.

The critics are watching it for free anyway. The filmmakers and studio can do whatever they want when providing free screenings for them. They obviously thought this through and either assumed that the reviews aren't going to bash the film, or the critics will hate it and and decided they can live with the consequences. I don't have much sympathy for the critics in this case. Though, I think if I was one of these critics, I probably would refuse to post a review of a film I haven't seen all the way through.

/Film : Box Office: Up and The Hangover Battle It Out For #1, Land of the Lost Disappoints

I loved The Hangover, thought it was the funniest movie of the year so far.... but Observe And Report was definitely the better movie, but not necessarily as funny. If you want to see more Zach Galifianakis humor, I suggest watching his periodic online interview show, Between Two Ferns. He is the best talk show host ever.

/Film : Arnold Schwarzenegger Offered Role in Predators?

FYI: Arnold will be finished with his governator duties in January 2010. He has left open the possibility of appearing in films after that. I'm not sure when this movie is planning on being filmed, but it would have to be after January of 2010 if they want anything larger than a cameo.

/Film : 24 Season 7 Finale - What Did You Think?

I enjoyed the season just as much as prior seasons, which is good since it wasn't a disappointment, but at the same time it wasn't completely amazing. There were parts that were amazing. The Kim Bauer storyline was surprisingly exciting. One of the problems with todays finale was that we all knew what was coming. We know Jack can't die, so it wasn't incredibly suspenseful. I think it is highly likely that Kim will die during the procedure, maybe next season Jack will be more spiritual, since he himself experienced death. Also, i was hoping Jack would convert to Islam before he dies. That would have been so awesome. maybe it can still happen.
