I've a new question for everyone here. I've updated my 3GS bb to ipads one in december, and I really didn't noticed that the screen won't turn off when answering a call. I've restored to a CWF a couple of times, but nothing new.
I've also noticed that my sister's 3G, with the same bb and firm version (4.2.1) is behaving the same way. Does anyone have the same issue? Any idea on how to fix it?
Thanks!

The fact is that after restoring with a cooked 4.2.1 ipsw made from Pwnagetool, and then installed cydia with Redsnow, the GPS is back. Maybe GPS is just lost because the action of upgrading the baseband, and not because the baseband itself. That could explain that if you don't check "use ipad baseband" preserving the one you already have, the GPS signal is back...

I have an 3gs new bootrom that was running 4.1. After unlock with UltraSn0w, I lost GPS signal. But... today I restored via pwnagetool to 4.2.1 (using 4.2.1 bundle from this page, supposed to be used with old bootroms ones), then installed Cydia via redsnow (no "use ipad baseband" in redsnow neither ultrasnow), then unlocked again... rebooted... and.... bazinga! The GPS is working again!
I don't know if this could be useful to the community, but if there's anything I can do, it'd be nice!
