Notice how there's no Soul, Marsh, Volcano, Earth, or Thunder Badge. Gary couldn't even beat most of the gyms that Ash did!

I know that this has been already brought up, but four things:
1) How the flying piss do you make a Pokemon more powerful than any psychic by turning it into a Ghost/Poison type? Alakazam would wreck that shit.
2) If the trainer had bothered to let Oshawott live until it evolved into Samurott, it would gain access to Megahorn, the strongest bug attack. Heck, Oshawott can even learn X-Scissor, another bug move, so it already has as much potential to stomp psychics as Gastly does.
3) Dark types are much better prepared to fight Psychic types than Ghost types, because they have immunity to Psychic moves!
4) Everyone knows that murdered Pokémon turn into vague ghosts that scare other Pokémon until you get a Silph Scope.

GAWD, IT'S LIKE THESE COMIC ARTISTS DON'T EVEN PLAY THE DAMN GAMES THEY MAKE COMICS ABOUT.
