This is no witch hunt and her boyfriend who is also on trial is the son of a prominent Italian family. They apparently have successfully got the judge to consider a third DNA expert so the boyfriend's family is using all the avenues. Amanda accused a completely innocent man. That's not coercion on the part of the police, she knew Guede was involved in the murder and she accused her boss who is also black. That implies being present at the murder at minimum. There are many aspects to this case and there is a murdered English girl. For them to not try those most likely involved would also be a crime.
