How so? EFI is a GUI update to BIOS that allows for mouse use, larger drives, and faster booting. It is still the same role in the system BIOS oferred. How am I inaccurate?

EFI is a form of BIOS tho. It's more a BIOS 2.0 since it includes hardware drivers at the BIOS level IIRC.
