I hope Liufau's inaccuracy - esp. of late - is due to his separated shoulder and not to some flaw in his fundamentals because he has badly missed WRs since Hawaii and was way off against Nicholls. Pac12 teams, and a pissed off Oregon team next week, are going to hurt us badly if he continues to be off so frequently. Hope it's the shoulder and that he's full healed this week. He also has a tendency to get rid of the ball when he's still got plenty of time, but I know he's trying to do this so he doesn't make forced errors. Has to find a better balance between getting stuck forcing throws and throwing the ball away too early. D better get some pressure. They didn't get any pressure on CSU, but that still worked about because all they had to do was wati for their QB to make errors, which he finally did. But against Nicholls, no pressure? What's up with that? Hope McCartny's return fixes that issue.

Utah is now possibly the scariest team in the Pac12. Their D-line is incredible. They looked like Oregon and Oregon looked like Nicholls State. They had Oregon confused on most plays, dominated their O and had a brilliant fake punt return - yes, fake punt return - for a TD. Watch the replay. THat's some clever stuff.

Sounds like theyre trying to say it's no big deal to lose your senior starting LT because we'll just plug in this soph with 56 snaps of experience and be just fine. That's a very tall glass of kool-aid. Hope they're right. I'll gladly drink it after if that holds true. But I guess that's what you have to say and think publicly.

csu QB Stevens is awful. I hope they truly start him against us. He under and overthrows routinely and makes bad decisions. backup Coleman looks much better. Without Higgins at WR their receiving corps is pretty mediocre. They look like a team under a new HC; penalties and mistakes all over the place. Their O-line looks good and their secondary too; lots of experience. Dawson is a dangerous runner. Given how bad their QB is they're going to try to run-run-run and given our passing game hasn't hit its stride and we've had so much success running I bet we'll try to do the same.

Good game. The pass game still isn't in sync, but Lindsay and Adkins are money. Pleasantly surprised with the kicking of Gonzalez. I thought every PT and FG attempt was going to be an adventure, but so far he's perfect and looked good. Good to see us beat someone the way we're supposed to.

They were really bad under Hawk and Embree too, and now another weak run. It's been nearly 1 years now of poor special teams for sure (not to mention football overall).

I can see your point. He may have had a good plan, but when it wasn't panning out (like the O-line was a sieve), what he should have said was I should have gone to my back up plan. The back up plan should have been screens, rollouts, etc. to burn a pressuring D. What's the back up plan if Plan A doesn't work is my question to Lindgren. Prepare for the worst, expect the best.

I have Directv, so no Pac12 network. I can use a friend's login to watch online but they only show the game at certain times and I can't watch it live. Does anyone know if there's a way to record the online game to watch it later? Doesn't look like Pac12 online offers on-demand viewing whenever you want; just live. Anyone know?

VK, don't lose perspective my brother. The offense took a big jump last season, yes? The team only won two games, but the D was a big issue. The offense set records, moved the ball and the passing game was highly ranked. We improved dramatically last season on offense and that's inarguable. We only won two games but we were actually competitive. The O stunk in Hawaii and that's inexcusable, but I'm not ready to say the O stinks based on one game despite the high level of frustration.

Yeah, but sounds like it's going to focus on the holy roller and African-American players having issues with the predominantly white Boulder PD. Hope it's not a tabloid-esque hatchet job! I hope they keep the above two in perspective in their storytelling.

My bet is we run run run at least the first quarter as running worked last game and coaches will want to minimize potential sefo deflating early int and pass game was so out of sync in Hawaii. Plus Iomg drives with heavy runs will keep u mass pass attack on sidelines. Look for lots of running early and to minimize u mass blitzing rushers to rattle sefo or stop run some screens too if lindgren is smart.
