Rivers once flowed on Mars, and bacteria has been found. I love the aliens idea for KOTCS, it wasn't that that made it a bad movie. It was Koepp's silly script. Act one was fine, act two was a chase, and act three - I don't know who was supposed to be chasing who - and for what reason. The characters became bystanders and didn't have to make any hard decisions.
