/Film : Spielberg Has "Cracked the Story" of Indiana Jones 5

And there is alien life, to some degree. Rivers once flowed on Mars, and bacteria has been found. I love the aliens idea for KOTCS, it wasn't that that made it a bad movie. It was Koepp's silly script. Act one was fine, act two was a chase, and act three - I don't know who was supposed to be chasing who - and for what reason. The characters became bystanders and didn't have to make any hard decisions.

It's kind of a shame that the first Avatar images we see are primarily from a video game. Ah well.

/Film : What Are Your Most Hated Uses of CGI in Movie History?

That wasn't CGI. There was only one shot that was, at the end - and it wasn't overly noticable.

Everyone's a cynic, not a critic. I think Beowulf is fantastic, and those who say that the animation is below-par must be watching it only on Youtube. RZ is experimenting, and I know what he's trying to achieve. The audience don't know what they want. They point fingers at BTTF and Roger Rabbit with rose-tinted glasses on, saying 'Look! My childhood movies! Make more of that!'.

Looks better than the first - I didn't like the fact that the first one was set pretty much on Michael Bay roads, Michael Bay city and Michael Bay storm drains. At least we get Japan (I think) and the pyramids.

Why are we so mean to the man? All he did was make some good kids movies. At the very worst, he created Jar Jar. Look at Michael Bay, he's annoying us by keeping himself alive. If I had the money George had, I'd build a massive studio that felt like home. I'm a geek. It's a shame that Lucas bashing has become so 'hip'.

/Film : Blu-Ray Release For Lord of the Rings Offers Theatrical Cuts Only

Also, they better give us some really cool inside boxes. If Jackson really loved us, he'd have Alan Lee or John Howe do some special sketches especially for the release - like the Extended DVDs. I hope studios will someday get Blu-Ray releases right. The Ultimate Matrix Trilogy BD boxes over here in the UK sucked compared to the DVD ones.
