I miss the brand split. Gave you a choice of what you wanted to see and each had their own flavor (especially when the Triple H Raw and Paul Heyman Smackdown shows were going on during the 2002-2004 time frame). I think bringing it back to two hours and splitting up the rosters again would open more doors for them in the long run. Plus, it just might even give them even more viewers on Smackdown.
Always been a fan of the Rock, but the last return really felt forced and uninspiring... I would have loved it had he returned as Hollywood Rock and showed more of that than what was given to us before.
His Heyman Smackdown days with Taz were also great to listen to. Had a lot more energy to it than it does today. Sometimes I look at the emotions of the announcers during the constant plugins and I get the sense that they are sick of it and are just not into what's going on. Another issue I have been having for years is the constant "HE GOT HIM!" or "IT'S OVER!" crap during false counts. Every single time you hear that, you know it's not over. At least show some emotion and actually make it seem believable that it may be over. JR perfected that, heck look at Wrestlemania 25 when almost everyone thought the first tombstone would have finished off Michaels... Great moment.
I'm not making a big deal of it, in fact I'm used to their "GREATEST OF ALL TIME" crap. Every-single-thing that just starts up is the "greatest". Seriously, how many times have you heard that a certain match was the "greatest I have ever seen" or that particular Wrestlemania was the "greatest Wrestlemania I have ever seen in my life"? A lot. Yes, the Cena thing is a little bit annoying (almost as annoying as those stupid twitter feeds that WWE constantly keeps shoving down our throats...), but I guarantee there will be another wrestler in the near future that they'll call, " THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME".
Only two I buy are Cesaro vs. Lesnar and Roman Reigns winning next year's rumble. Every other thing just seems like it was pulled out of their ass....
I think next year they should consider giving a time limit to each inductee and also doing away with those stupid segments they did after some speeches (what purpose did freaking Hornswoggle serve other than get a giggle out of a few children?), which for whatever reason was totally fine in the minds of the WWE when there were speeches about to get cut short.... Cmon man. Maybe starting it a little earlier could help too, maybe an hour earlier this year would have worked.
Great way to put it. That's exactly how I was looking at it as Undertaker was walking out of the arena.
Wish someone else had ended it (CM Punk would have been perfect after going 20-0) but at the same time it was definitely a fitting end considering it being the 30th edition of Wrestlemania. Could have had a better ending but it seems the WWE was definitely going for the shock effect with this one (and boy did they pull it off....). Definitely won't forget Lesnar over Undertaker and what a shock it was.
I remember that, was definitely the right thing to do with Jake just soaking in the crowd reaction and the feel of being back on TV. It was a great moment and definitely one to remember. On a side note, I still laugh when the snake got so scared that it crapped on Ambrose's chest with him smiling after being told what happened haha.
Loving this crowd! Telling the WWE how they feel about their face of the company Randy Orton and who they really support (Daniel Bryan). Watt-Bryan match really surprised me. I wasn't expecting much, but how can you if you haven't seen him much (from a view point of someone who didn't see any of his matches prior to his current WWE run) to get a feel for how he wrestles? Definitely a great showing by both and Watt can definitely build upon that performance if he can just get more matches in there.
