This one will be interesting. Victim assists in administering narcotics to suspect. Suspect kills victim in what could be considered self-defense (no witnesses). How much fault will be placed on the victim for supplying the narcotics in the first place? And if there is ANY evidence of child abuse, then this one will get really messy.

Your definition of "ALL" is very interesting. Maybe YOU should have someone evaluate YOUR mental state. IN MY CASE, using CAPS is equivalent to using Bold typeface. Or do you accuse anyone of using BOLD as being in an "unbalanced mental state"? And it is called an ANALOGY. One that I happen to think is perfectly valid since: Small aircraft can cause much larger aircraft to have an accident just EXACTLY as bicycles can INDIRECTLY cause traffic accidents even if they are not PART of that accident once the police show up to investigate.

"What gives anybody the right to mandate somebody else's choice in travel mode?" The EXACT same concept applies to not allowing small aircraft to violate DIA's airspace. It is called PHYSICS. I believe that cyclists should NOT be allowed to ride on city streets if the posted speed limit is above 45 MPH. Slow moving OBJECTS of ANY KIND can be a hazard to object moving much faster. I constantly see cyclists riding on the shoulder of a FREEWAY where traffic is moving at 65 MPH. I have even seen this behavior IN A BLIZZARD. Saying that cyclists cannot harm a car, so let them do whatever they please is the same as saying "just let small aircraft fly through DIAs airspace.... what harm can a 2000 lb plane do to a 200,000 lb jetliner"

I believe that a woman has the right to - Miss TWO periods before they realize they might be pregnant (call it 8 weeks). 1 week to get a test to be sure and another week to make the decision and schedule the abortion procedure. Thats 10 weeks. As long as abortions are not hard to obtain, then that brings the procedure in under 13 weeks. I would be FINE with making abortions beyond 20 weeks illegal (except in the case of medical risk to the mother). I just dont feel that a 15 year old girl that makes extremely bad decisions should be forced to give birth if that is not what they want. I might even argue that birth control in all girls over the age of 12 be given long term birth control just like immunizations, should be made mandatory. And I'll state it again (sure to get lots of thumbs down): "Show me where on the Earth we have a shortage of human beings, and I might reconsider my support of freedom of choice"

"morality cannot exist in the absence of religious principles" This is a completely false statement. In fact I would argue that (in some cases) religion can make us LESS moral. Religion teaches us to do good or else god will punish you. And the "Good" is predefined for us. This logic attempts to force morality upon us because to not accept it (the teachings) means punishment by some unseen force. TRUE MORALITY is when you "know in your heart" that something is right/wrong just/unjust. I don't have a single religious fiber in my body, but I can sure tell the difference between right & wrong. Is that not MORE "moral" than doing things because to NOT do them means punishment?

I am not even sure what this rant is all about.... At my (average cost) residence I have private space to park 5 vehicles. (2 car garage & 3 car driveway) Surrounding my house I have room to park an additional 5 vehicles on public property (curb space, I live on a corner). What is the problem?? Oh... wait. The other issue is that it affects chronic users differently than a "virgin". A chronic user that is currently NOT impaired could have THC & THC metabolite levels in their blood that would render a non-user nearly comatose. It is NOT the same as alcohol where greater than some level and ANYONE would be "impaired". And there was a study in "Psychology of Addictive Behaviors" that shows that MJ "did not exhibit more risks of developing physical and mental health issues during their mid-30s". So all those "Reefer Madness" types can just quit their fear mongering. It is FAR less harmful than alcohol to society in general.
