West Ham Till I Die : What's the Story With Carlton Cole?

Here's a pretty good match preview / prenaylis. Be very surprised if SAF doesn't put Nani on the left tomorrow to begin with, just hope Noble and Parker play and are on their game else Nani could really run riot! http://bleacherreport.com/articles/650697-west-ha...?

West Ham Till I Die : Should Scott Parker Be Rested?

I think, if all fit (allowing for injections) the team that beat Stoke last week should enter the field of play at the Britannia tomorrow. Yes it's a risk playing Parker but as mitigation he could be subbed if we go a couple up or even just take the lead and there is a good chance of that if we field the same team. Maybe replace him with another defender to fortify our rear guard against what would probably be high balls into the box, at home Mr Delap will have the advantage of towels and a nice long run up!

West Ham Till I Die : Result: Player Performances v Burnley

I listened to the commentary on 5 Live last night (Motty was awesome!). Anyway, from the sounds of it we didn't play very well but we've won 5 -1. Well, if you can play crap and still thrash a decent Championship team that's got to be a positive!

Leyton Orient were offered the Stadium following the games, it was to be a 25000 seater but Hearn turned it down, because of the running track. That's why the OPLC considered bids from Premier League clubs, it was the only viable option they then had for an anchor tenant. Hearn is just after compensation, now he's saying he wants the Hockey Stadium, i think that's closer to the Olympic Stadium then Leytons current ground!

West Ham Till I Die : The Sorry Saga Continues...

How different things would probably be right now if the 'Mole' had kept their gob shut regarding the O'Neil appointment. Maybe O'Neil would have accepted the job but only if Grant had already left the club, it seems that's how he would have preferred things to happen anyway. The 'Club' had plenty of opportunity to back Grant before O'Neil withdrew his interest and they didn't so its no good them trying to be cute now and giving the impression they were never about to appoint someone else. Whoever this mole is should be named, shamed and hung out to dry!!!

Yeah, and if that does happen just wait for Sullivan to claim this was all his idea and it was actually just to get the squad fired up and playing better. I wouldn't be surprised if Grant just walked out though, part of me wants him to & not because of his record with us but because it would be sticking two well deserved fingers up in the face of these clowns in charge of our beloved club and the shoddy way clubs are being run in general these days. If Grant walked he'd have the support of not only many of our fans for that reason but a huge proportion of football fans and mangers in general.

I actually believe Grant was beginning to turn things around, I'm ignoring saturdays result because a) we had a load of injured players b) the opposition are actually one of the best teams in the world c) Avram & the players may have been de-motivated to some degree what with all the speculation. Reasons to be cheerfull: 90 minutes away from Wembley final. A very good chance of progressing to the 5th round of FA Cup. Avram is showing signs that he can manage to turn turn things around and we can start posting points on the board. Looks like we are going to keep Scotty Parker. Key players to come back from injury which will be like new signings.

I love how the BBC are now saying they think MON wont take the job because the process has all been a bit rushed, leave off, they were saying on Saturday morning that the club had been in talks with MON for weeks and Jonathan Pearce should quite rightly be feeling extremely embarrassed right now after broadcasting to the world his 'source' had informed him MON was going to be the next WHUFC manager. Who is the 'source; in Upton Park anyway because they seem intent on making us a laughing stock.

It looks like Grant is staying, great, we have a manager who knows the board don't want him, a team propping up the table and 2 weeks left until transfer deadline with no money to spend.

West Ham Till I Die : Grant's Future: Time to Put Up Or Shut Up

Starting to wonder if Gold & Sullivan, or at least Sullivan as it's been reported in the Telegraph that Gold still supports Grants appointment, is trying to force Avram to resign so compensation won't need to be paid. Well it seems clear that if he is still in charge come Monday after all the speculation this weekend (anyone seen the post match press conference, talk about uncomfortable viewing) it's going to take a hell of a lot to make him walk and can you blame Avram for digging his heels in if this is how he is being treated?

Just heard J.P saying on the BBC that a source told him a deal was struck with Avram on Thursday evening so i guess he, the backroom staff and the team already know this evenings fixture is his last game as Manager of WHUFC. Oh well, i know the guy tried his best, and there were some great results, not least the 4 - 0 against Man Yoo and he's got us to within 1 one game from a Wembley final, thanks for that Avram, all the best at Chelski!
