Contrary to what you may believe. None of this gas will be delivered to Oregon. It is to enter the California pipe line and go to California where The Gov. there has allready denied three proposed terminals. That is why they are trying to bring them here. And it's 25 yards to both sides of the pipe line that are deemed use less. I know because it's my property they want to come through. And of course you feel safe because you live no where near the terminal. And NO, I'm not a "tree hugging liberal" and YES, I feel this is the only thing Kulingouski is doing that has been worth while.

KATU - Portland, OR : New Oregon A.G. dead set against LNG ports | KATU.com - Portland, Oregon | News

What none of you seem to know is that NONE of this product is intended for consumption in Oregon. They say it is but the pipe line is intended to connect to the Cannada / California pipe line. It makes a stop in Molalla at the switchig station but will continue on to Maupin and tie into the California line. Northwest natural buys their gas and stores it in the caves by Vernonia and there is a surplus every year. It is and always has been intended to sell/send this product to California. Why doesn't California install processing plants in their own State? Because their Governor VETOed the project stating environmental hazards, safety issues. If California wants this fuel, then build your own plants in your own state and leave our homes and farm land alone! I also have attended the meetings and left those meetings feeling bullied and ignored. Also, I'm about as far right as you can get and I don't think this is about right or left. I also think you folks should be looking at both sides of the argument instead of just what nortwest natural is putting out there.
