I hope I'm wrong, too. But the damage has already been done. I feel bad for her husband (he seems like a good man) and her children. And remember, the grass may be greener, but it still has to be mowed. :-)

I may be wrong, but I've seen it many times. Emotional affairs. Women usually like to have someone to run to before they leave.

This is so completely awful. This woman will regret what she has done. I am not convinced that there is no one else. Women usually have someone to run to after a divorce or should I say frivorce.

I live in a rural area, my son is an avid hunter and I have many friends who farm. That said, most of the women I know, do not do the killing, nor do they care to do so. I too understand it is a natural part of survival and so do my female friends. However, we still want the men to take care of the 'dirty work'. I apologize for coming off as rude. I just felt that Lori was being called out on one point and it was taking the focus off of her post, which is that God clearly defined our roles and we need men. And yes, they also need us.

You're welcome, Lori! I see this so often, people (especially women, in my observation) get stuck on one point or sentence in someone's blog. It's almost like they are looking for controversy or a fight. Why? Why? Why? Is society like this now??? When did it happen? We don't need to make a big deal about one or two statements, especially if we basically agree with the point of the post. Keep speakin' the truth, Sister!!!

Oh goodness, ladies. Nitpick, nitpick! You basically agree with what Lori is saying so why be agrumentative about one part of her post. She said MOST women. Stop stirring the pot. Play nice.

I can completley relate to this woman. Years ago I was married to a man, we had two children and we both had jobs. We tried to work opposite hours so the children didn't have to spend too much time in daycare. I was a prefectionist. Tried to 'do it all and have it all'. It made me a very unpleasant and crabby woman. My husband thought I should work outside the home because his mother did and he thought we needed two incomes. I think if we had adjusted our lifestyle a bit, we could have done without two incomes. Our children could've been at home with me instead of at the neighbor's in-home daycare. I think I would have been calmer and the marriage would have survived. Guess who my former husband is now married to? That's right, the daycare provider. The calm, fun, stay at home mom. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Take care of your man, your children and your home , ladies. Protect your marriage from the world around you. Blessings!

@Ksdee,

Thank you for your kind words. I do know that my clients view me the way you view your hairdresser. It's just with the way media promotes youth and beauty as the most important attribute in women today, I sometimes feel like I am contributing to the problem. Or maybe I've just been worrking to hard for too many years. ;-) Anyway, I appreciate your thoughts. Blessings!!
