William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : Hating knowledge

Question for you.... If a person states that they are a "Christian", however, they do not believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God but rather view it as a "good framework for their lives" can they truly be a Christian?

William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : Flee Teachers Who Do Not Preach Sound Doctrine

I agree 100% with your blog entry. The big problem I see is that there are a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing who are convincing people that their doctrine is sound. What if they accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior but are instucted in bad doctrine? Will these sheep perish with the wolves? Is this where the "fruit" comes in? Justification and then Sanctification. If there is no "fruit", then are you not really born again? (i.e. a false convert)?

William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : will the lord return and find his children faithful?

Interesting timing of your post. Today, I was just listening to D.A. Carson on "How to Wait for Jesus" http://www.desiringgod.org/Blog/1669_carsons_semi...

William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : Elisha and his bears

I always thought this Bible scripture was intriguing. Definitely an example of what happens when you mock the Glory of God. People who object or are offended by this story, don't understand that they are the creature not the Creator. They are the clay and He is the potter. Revere and exalt God!

William Cody Bateman - Christian Author, Speaker and National Fatherhood Advocate : Enoch – the New World Order’s messenger of doom

Yes, but as you pointed out Enoch, like Elijah, was taken up without experiencing death. Seems very significant. I think your answer as to why Moses and Elijah were chosen is a good one. Each of the godly people you mentioned from the Old Testament were shadows in some way pointing toward the coming of Jesus Christ.

Interesting.... you could very well be right about Enoch and Elijah as God's witnesses in the days of Revelation. I wonder why Enoch wasn't with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration?
