Addai has 10 TDs, 5 of which came in his last three games. He is 23rd in rushing yards. His real value has been more as a pass catching back, and not everyone plays in a PPR league. He's averaging 13.6 points per game in most leagues. Obviously scoring varies by league set up. I like Addai as a number 2 back in PPR leagues, number 3 in standard leagues.

Vince, my comparison was not that deep. Smith and Gore are both pass-catching backs. That's how they are similar. How the team utilizes them in the pass and run game. I agree that he's Detroit's second best offensive player. He could surprise and have a solid week. But a piece of dried gum could pick Adrian Peterson as the Start of the Week and Jamal Lewis as the Sit of the Week, week after week. If that's what you're looking for, ESPN's got ya covered. I try to pick some less than obvious choices, and some of those are risky picks. I got burned last week on MJD. It happens. We'll see how the games shake out. If I'm wrong, I'm happy to own up to it. You have a great gift for player and situational analysis, perhaps you should come write for us. =)

I don't have enough faith in McCoy yet, and Rice , as I said above tends to buck the odds. Most of Flacco's passes go to him or Mason, so in a PPR league, he's an even better bet. Add to that, Troy Polamalu is out this week.

It's certainly possible. Moats does have more TDs in 1 games than Slaton has all season. I just don't see them giving up on Slaton this quickly.

I have to go with Kevin Smith. The Seahawks rush defense isn't much to speak of, and Kevin Smith is a solid PPr RB. Slaton faces a tough Indy rush defense even as the starter.

I like Hasslebeck to have a decent day, but not spectacular. He plays much better at home than on the road, but I think against the Cowboys he'll still hit about 230 passing yards and 2 scores. I think he'll end the week somewhere between 9th and 12th in QB scoring. I certainly believe he'll have a better day than Orton, Delhomme, Young, Smith and Bulger.

Well, Baltimore's defense always has the chance to explode, but against the Broncos, they don't give up many turnovers. San Diego's defense, after a poor start has begun to play better of late and have now snuck up the defensive rankings. They play against an Oakland offense that turns the ball over. So despite my thumbs down above, I think they offer more upside for turnovers than the Ravens.

Wait, Rodgers 9th? I have him ranked neck and neck with Brees this week. Certainly not behind Romo and Rivers. It's hard to imagine Bulger facing a pass defense as bad as Detroit's without getting a couple of TDs, but it's a tough call.
