Addai has 10 TDs, 5 of which came in his last three games. He is 23rd in rushing yards. His real value has been more as a pass catching back, and not everyone plays in a PPR league. He's averaging 13.6 points per game in most leagues. Obviously scoring varies by league set up. I like Addai as a number 2 back in PPR leagues, number 3 in standard leagues.

Vince, my comparison was not that deep. Smith and Gore are both pass-catching backs. That's how they are similar. How the team utilizes them in the pass and run game. I agree that he's Detroit's second best offensive player. He could surprise and have a solid week. But a piece of dried gum could pick Adrian Peterson as the Start of the Week and Jamal Lewis as the Sit of the Week, week after week. If that's what you're looking for, ESPN's got ya covered. I try to pick some less than obvious choices, and some of those are risky picks. I got burned last week on MJD. It happens.

We'll see how the games shake out. If I'm wrong, I'm happy to own up to it.

I don't have enough faith in McCoy yet, and Rice , as I said above tends to buck the odds. Most of Flacco's passes go to him or Mason, so in a PPR league, he's an even better bet. Add to that, Troy Polamalu is out this week.

Hey Eddie- I covered David Hawthorne in several previous columns. He's pretty much been snapped up in most leagues which use IDP at this point. With Tatupa out, Hawthorne will continue to be a monster. If he's available, grab him and thank your lucky stars no one else has.
