Price has nothing to do with Valve and everything to do with Microsoft. It's they who set prices and agreements that DLC will not be free, not Valve. Valve pushed really hard to get the last DLC to be free of charge, remember that? They tried again this time, but MS wouldn't allow it.

So give them a break. Sheesh.

I wouldn't buy it now, wait for L4D2. When that comes out, you won't find many L4D1 people to play with (and the single player is pretty boring).

Yeah, thats the thing---it isn't fun. You literally do the same thing for 55 stages. And the further you get, the longer the stages are. I'm at about 40 now and it takes around 10 minutes per stage. Same mechanics, same goals, same monsters. It's a flash game that you have to pay for.

Never said Gamestop :) There's always ebay... craigslist... facebook. I'd never sell games to gamestop for precisely the reason you mentioned.

The point I was making though, was if they've basically the same game (which I don't agree with), then why not get rid of the one that no one will be playing anymore and put the money towards the newer "version"? Just an option

Well, just sell L4D1 and put that money towards number two. That's what I plan on doing anyways (because no one I know is ever on playing L4D anymore).

I gotta admit, all the stuff around DC looked a little silly. Almost looked more like Fallout than Modern Warfare. Cool trailer though, can't wait for the game.
