This is not a violation of the first amendment. The constitution was not written to exclude God. For too long a micro-minority has succeeded in taking God out of schools and you can see the absolute mess that schools have become without God. And yes, the United States was founded as a Christian nation with Christian principles. Abandoning these principles has taken its toll on the country and God is apparently removing His Blessing from us.

The liberals have already made up their minds to this issue which is not only the elimination of tar sands but the ultimate elimination of the internal combustion engine and the gas used. Well Elaine, why don't you and your dog owning buddies get over to the dog park and pull some weeds yourself? This doggie park benefits those that own dogs and should be taken care of on a voluntary basis. Post flyers at the site announcing the clean up day or days, establish clean up committees for keeping the facility clean. In other words, take this on as a voluntary project. I'm sure the city would benefit from your help and the help of others. In these times of budget austerity it is imperative that the beneficiaries of projects like your doggie park could assume the responsibility for maintaining and improving the equipments used by your dogs.

And abortion is an abomination as well as a barbaric act wherein an innocent child is murdered for the sake of convenience. The death penalty is an effective deterrent to any repeat on the part of the convicted.
