Ravi's mother broke down in court, whoopie-doo, she has her son, she didn't have to bury him as did Clementi's mother did. After his sentence is served, deport him and send him home with his mommy. Maybe with his family's stature and money he will get even more special treatment while in county lockup. We now know the value of life, and it appears to be thirty days in county, What a JOKE.

I still don't know who Ron is, (I've been posting in the Statesman for years). I felt Shawn is young and probably looks up to his brother, may he learn from this. The mothers want light sentences for their children, I don't blame them, but to publicly post the comments they did (and admit it here) is wrong and might be civilly liable. Many of the youth today have no respect (like hitting the car with a skateboard). What if the victim had a CHL, and fatally used a weapon in protecting himself? Some drunken (the article said they were drinking, and where did they get the alcohol?) skater punk would be dead, and the parents would be the ones demanding justice.
