I didn't say to avoid fats entirely, my point was that fats per gram contain more calories than carbs and protein so they must be kept "at a reasonable amount..." Nowhere did I say to avoid them completely.
Oh I definately agree! The amount of calories you burn when you're just sitting there drops so significantly that moving any amount helps a lot. Good suggestion, and thanks for your comment!
I didn't say snacking in general is bad...but snacking on junk like chips and candy can be a huge detriment, which is why I suggested snacking on something like carrots or baked chips :) And since I'm a personal trainer I can tell you one of the main complains of my clients when it comes to diet is that they don't have time to cook so they just stop by the drive through on the way home, which is why I brought that up :)
