He doesn't know more about humanity than I do. Making sexist, racist, and homophobic comments has nothing to do with wrestling. Hitting people in the head when they likely have a concussion has nothing to do with wrestling. Going hard on someone with training has absolutely NOTHING to do with being a bigot and endangering the well-being of a fellow person. Have some common sense and understand that things have changed in the twenty plus years since Chris Jericho started training.

I like Jericho but I just don't get his logic. Daniel Bryan is the most over guy in the company. Turning him heel isn't going to work. It'd be like fans refusing to boo Kurt Angle circa 2005-06. You can try as much as you want, if the fans don't want to boo the guy then they won't do it.

I just don't get why Roman Reigns has to happen now when the fans still feel like Bryan's story isn't over. Reigns couldn't have won the Rumble next year? You can put John Cena in the title match/main event of 'Mania 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 with fans begging for him to step aside but the second a new guy who fits your mold shows up you strap a rocket to his rear? It's so helter skelter despite the best pushes always being the more organic ones.

"Just the Daniel Bryan fans" is one way to refer to them. Another, more proper way is "the vast majority of all WWE fans". You say it like they're a niche market when, in fact, appeasing the Daniel Bryan fans would be appeasing the bulk of the audience.

The WWE has something in Roman Reigns. They do. Sure, he's not the best wrestler or talker but he's slowly developing. If they would have let him season his character and slowly build up more fan support then he could have potentially been a great choice to win the Royal Rumble... in 2016. Instead, they forced it and are effectively poisoned the water. Couple that with Daniel Bryan's unfortunate injury leaving a lot of fans feeling like his story didn't have a chance to be finished and the WWE did this to themselves. I feel bad for Reigns because his overall potential has been hurt by the WWE's kneejerk push.

That's not a confirmation that Bo Dallas is going to be in the match. That's a reminder that both Dallas and Rusev made their surprise, main roster debuts via the Rumble match and maybe another NXT wrestler will do it this year.
