Quite simply - he's brilliant. He will soon shake off his illness, rid the country of the virus, move on to get Brexit done and then enjoy fifteen or so years as the greatest PM we have seen since Thatcher, making this country a capitalist paradise.

We must have a PM who will stand up to the EU . May fell because she was taken in by EU who persuaded her to agree to terms that meant Brexit in name only. They will do everything to ensure that the new PM submits to their terms. They WANT OUR MONEY.
I can think of only one of the candidates who fits the bill : Boris Johnson.

The overwhelming majority in favour of No Deal should surely be listened to by MPs. Let us have this policy implemented asap and put an end to all this beating about the bush

There really is no alternative now : a no-deal departure is inevitable. We have had enough of insults and attempts to scare us. And no more wasted time in parliamentary debates. May must make an announcement in the same way Chamberlain did in 1939

Owen Patterson is absolutely right. We should wash our hands of this corrupt and crumbling organisation without further delay. We will be in uncharted waters - so we are told. That is where we were when we were establishing the greatest empire the world has ever known. Let's crash out on March 29.

Bercow must be disposed of before he does any more damage to our democracy. What form that will take I leave to politicians who know the ropes much better than I do..

Fight on, Boris. You are the man we need. We need you in place at this hour as we leave the EU. You will ensure that the no deal will be followed by negotiations that will give us a settlement we demanded in the referendum. You will lead us, as you did in London, to at least two Conservative victories. As we leave the miseries of 2018 behind us you offer us the broad sunlit uplands of 2019 and beyond. Happy New Year to us all!

This is now developing into a discussion between several middle-aged women and some interesting suggestions have already emerged. The result, one would hope , would be 'cometh the hour cometh the woman'. One of them must get revenge for the humiliation May has suffered at the hands of an obvious misogynist, that elderly gentleman from Luxembourg.

Desperate situations call for drastic measures. Only the Conservative Party can save Brexit and at the same time save itself. We need a leader who will be ruthless in the present situation. He (Boris or Jacob?) will order all Associations to choose only convinced Brexiteers to stand in an early GE and all known Remainers to be de-selected. This would ensure a Conservative government with a strong majority. It would negotiate a hard Brexit or, in the unlikely event the EU refuse, walk away.

This vote, which enables true Conservatives to identify themselves should replace one stage of selection procedures for the next election. Any Conservative MP who votes for the Withdrawal Agreement should automatically disqualify him/herself as a candidate.
