I like the door knockers which are being used as drawer pulls. Plus I love the storage drawers that these drawer pulls are on. Using the sheathing and undershingles from the original home was a very good idea. I'm a person who believes in a lot of storage area and I believe the use of these drawers was a very good idea.

I can imagine how scary that was LLColeman! Just reading your story scared me imagining what you were going through. Thank Goodness everything turned out okay.

I have four sons (all grown now and with their own families) and I remember going through tough times like what you went through with your son. You love them so dearly and never want to see them in pain. One of those times was when my son was walking the dog and tripped and fell and his bottom lip ripped completely in half. I was so freaked out!!! I was so sure he would be disfigured for life. We got to the hospital and the doctor called in like five nurses to hold my son down on the bed. Two of these nurses were huge guys with big arms. My son so far had been okay and wasn't really even crying that bad (he was probably about 9 years old). But they thought that once they started the stitches my son would start moving and crying. It killed me to see them all holding my son down like that. After about half a minute the doctor told the nurses to let my son go. My son was being so brave. He had his little hands all curled up into fists and he was trying so hard to be good. The doctor was really surprised. After the stitches were done, the doctor told my son that he WAS going to have some ice cream when he got home for being so brave. I started laughing. He also told my son not to go jumping from any beds or anything. My son's lip healed completely and you can't even tell where the cut or the stitches were. But I do believe that I sprouted about ten new grey hairs that day! ;-)

It was very touching watching her get the news. She was so excited! A person couldn't help but smile watching all of that. Also, watching how they picked the person, and the details as to how they go about getting the person's information, and figuring out how they're going to surprise them was very interesting. I liked seeing that part of the show too.

I heard her say that she was just on their website also. I was waiting to see if she'd do the touchdown thing. That would have been pretty cool! :-) Although, she was very excited, so she may have forgotten altogether. I know I probably would have forgotten just out of all the excitement going on. I'm so happy for her!
