What hacks me off is being blamed instead of thanked for my life. I have always paid the bills and student loans off. Educated myself when necessary to upgrade my skills. Served in the US Army in the 70's. Got spit on by my "friends" for doing it. Paid my taxes honestly. Same with FICA. Restore it? Then get busy. I have been doing for longer than you.

Actually folks, the DFW area, Houston and San Antonio are very liberal. Why? Because they are populated by drop-ins for the most part. Transplants from the rust belt and both coasts. You gotta get to Tyler, Longview, Lubbock, Amarillo, Waco, etc to find Texans anymore. Dallas has and is having still a spate of corruption issues.
