I thought last nights Raw was really good. They are doing a great job building the feuds. I'm actually interested in more than one story line for the first time in years. Love the IC tournement. Barret is getting over and I hope that even if he doesn't beat Big E this weekend he will beat him at the next PPV. The shields promo in he hallway way my favorite part of he show, I couldn't stop watching Ambrose after he talked and walked away flipping out quietly down the hallway. He has an intensity I haven't seen in a while, my favorite wrestler right now.
I thought for sure it was gonna say "MVP and Shelton Benjamin"
Show is always booked strong, unless he is crying about his mortgage. Having Brock beat him at the rumble will solidify the fact he is a legit threat for whomever he is gonna face at Mania. They wouldn't have to do this if they didn't have Cena and Hunter go over him since his return but that is where they are at. I would rather see him face new opponents but I'm cool with this if it is just to build him up for a fight with Taker. A Batista/Lesnar bout would be nice to see as well. I think Big E and Ryback are still to new to get matches with him yet, you have them go over Brock near the end of his run. The only thing I really feel strongly about is having Daniel Bryan win the belt at Mania, the program with Orton this year was such a tease but will be worth it if Bryan gets his Mania moment.
Clean win over cena is bigger than being champ these days, great PPV
Sucks to have anyone get injured, but I could use a break from Sheamus. His charcter needs some tweaking and he was booked far too strong for too long. His big push could have been justified if it ended with a clean win over cena, but he just pretty much would beat Del Rio and Wade Barret week in and week out. I enjoy watching him work in the ring and think he has a lot of potential. He just needs some character development. Not sure if a heel turn would help or maybe being involved with a new stable. I just hope he heals up well and comes back better than ever.
They got more exposure back when AW was thier manager though, now they never get any time to speak. I get a kick out of them when they do get the chance though. I can't wait for the day when the tag team division returns to its former glory. It was so good back in the Hogan era and then again in the attitude era. My favorite memories are when Edge and Christian used to cut the five second pose promos, so funny.
Maybe D'Lo could be a manager for the prime time players, they were better when they had AW. The Usos need a manager as well, I've never heard them cut a promo. Not sure if they have any mic skills or not.
Does this mean that Ziggler is out of the WHC picture? It kinda sucks he ever got a chance to prove himself as champ. I was OK with the title loss to Del Rio to spark the face turn, I figured that he would regain the title by winning it in a legitimate match thus getting his revenge on Del Rio and proving he had what it takes to be champ. Moving on to a feud with Big E before finishing up with Del Rio seems like they are moving on from Ziggler in th title picture. I just wish they would give him a chance as champion. I don't see why WWE keeps givingDel Rio title reigns. While he is good in the ring his character is duller than a butter knife. He is by far my least favorite wrestler on the roster.
I had been hoping that TNA could get some good programming going to push WWE to be more creative like they had to be in the 90s with WCW. If things are as bad as it seems from the rumors the next best thing would be for WWE to pick up some of TNAs talent. Maybe Sting may actually finally make a deal with Vince. I would love to see WWE pick up Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, Bad Influence, James Storm, Bobby Roode, Magnus (an English tag team of Magnus and Barrett could be interesting). Brining back Angle, Hardy and he Dudley's would also be sick. You could have a stacked tag team division, I know I miss when tag team wrestling mattered. Not to mention the knockouts, women who can actually wrestle.
Swap Kenny King with Samoa Joe, and I'm down.
