The Boy Who Likes To : Safety taps

See the on/off hotter/colder dont really seem that far advanced to what I have - or should say, am used to. But a blinking red "here comes the cold water" light sounds futuristic. Now THAT I am jealous of! EYE-mmensely!!

The Boy Who Likes To : Video killed the radio star

Well nosey Jo. When you call any customer service and hear "you call is being recorded for training purposes" I am (and the missus) the person listening to that call. It's only for certain car dealerships, I'm given a few dealers around the country to monitor daily. I just listen to a call and mark how well the salesperson is. It's listening to pre-recorded stuff, not live. So I can download work and do it when I want (hence why the missus is doing hers now as she was out shopping earlier but all my work is done, I did not shop.)

Well we've not had too many days out doors yet as weather has been a little overcast and chilly last few days. Although we do see loads of great sunsets as we face directly west. Thanks, so you kow for next year, 12th Feb. ;)

The Boy Who Likes To : Cold feet

Well, when we were house hunting one place we went to (we werent looking at that place, the agent had to pick up some keys from there and said we should look as it was up for rent, anyway), this place didnt have an oven. Just the cooking hobs on one side. Plus I thought something was up when we were shopping and a lot of the frozen stuff (like fish fingers) didn't have directions for the oven, just frying. I asked a Spanish person about this when I was at some house party and they confirmed that ovens are only a recent thing in last 10 years or so. The floors DO get frezzing cold dont they? Do they have central heating in France? The missus is getting a pair of boot slippers that she is looking forward to. She already has the same view on hers as you and hers havent even arrived.

The Boy Who Likes To : Touching El Cielo

It is a hard walk. But not difficulty, ie it long but there isn't too much to worry about, except the last bit. Otherwise it's pretty straight forward. You don't necessarily have to be fit. I mean there were some old and unfit people, about 60 or 70, in the group that still managed to make it to the top. Check out this photo http://bit.ly/11b0CYou can see that there are few old people that made it to the top. I have to admit I was suprised. But if you take your time you'd manage. Especially since you do a lot of canoeing you should be fine. If you do try it you should let me know as it would be good to go up again.

The little white dot that you see from town is the big cross when you get to the top. I have some more photos that I want to post in the another entry. But I joined a walking club were they have walks once a month. I do it for fun mainly. I enjoy doing long walks.

The Boy Who Likes To : New Home

It always feels nice to recharge your batteries with family when your down. Good to hear you had a good navidades. You'll have to let us know what you got up to. We did the whole 12 grapes thing for the first time. That was fun. I had a camera, grapes, drink and phone all in two hands while trying to eat grapes, chat with mum and take photos. That was tough! The new house is insane. It really is that good. No, no communal pool. It does seem weird that there isn't a pool but after a year without a private terrace we have gladly gave up the pool for some privacy. But you're right about being spoilt with lots of places having a pool. You certainly don't automatically turn down a house in the UK for not having a pool :D

Hi Shelby, Happy New Year. Of course I remember who you are. Well I've been up to quite a bit since we last spoke. And if you've mentioned Amy then it must of been quite some time ago that we last spoke. I've moved out of England, with my girlfriend, and we live in Spain. We have been here for a little under a year now, things are going good. We live by the beach on the south coast of Spain and just generally enjoying life. I'll have to go read your blog now and get up to date with you.

That fridge is almost always stocked like that during any holiday periods. I kind of miss it. I'm just going through a TON of photos of the fortnight to bring back best points. Problem with getting a new camera you use it almost 6 or 7 times as much as normal.
