Also, my phone is 3G and I was running 2.2.1_5H11 prior to this incident.

I tried updating to 3.0, then something happened in between. For instance iTunes prompted me to install a newer version of iTunes in which I did. Then, my iPhone sarts its updating. Now, my screen is stuck at the "Emergency Dialing Only Mode" And I can't doing anything else because when iTunes pops up it says unable to connect because my phone is passcode protected. PLEASE help me!
