Our family's prayers are with the children and their families, that there might possibly be some hope of their survival. We especially hope the young aunt can see that some things are out of our hands, despite our best efforts. My prayers are also that there might be someone in the high tech industries who can see a way to develop some sort of search and recovery equipment that can operate in conditions that stop human divers. We have night vision technology, sonar, etc., etc. and other technologies well beyond my knowledge. Could they not be combined with robotics, etc. to overcome these natural barriers and greatly expedite such missions? I hope someone with a deep knowledge of such technologies sees possibilities here.
