Twilight may have more raw power than Starlight (perhaps she did even as a unicorn) but it's how you use that power that matters. I don't think Starlight is more powerful, rather she's more skilled.

Strangely enough, though we know films exist in Equestria, I don't think we've ever seen a movie theatre. Ponyville has luxuries like a spa so you'd think they would have a movie theater if such things existed.
