Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Three Police Officers Killed in Pittsburgh Shooting

We have open carry in the state I live in. We also have concealed carry, with classes required and regulations in place. Hmmm, our open carry just lets Clancy Criminal walk anywhere they want to with a gun. It also lets other criminals know who is armed, and makes them a target for anyone wanting to take thier arms. (This response was in my earlier response, but had to be trimmed out due to long windedness.)

And you think an AK47 is not concealable? How about the Von Maur shooting in Omaha a year ago. The fact is, criminals will find a way to use whatever they can get. Look at Clyde Barrow. He had a full auto BAR trimmed down to fit under his jacket. If a criminal is going to commit the crime, they sure as heck dont care about the laws leading up to it. Ban a pistol, they will still have a pistol. Myself, I have carried open, and carry at home around the house. I am an NRA member, a competitive shooter, a responsible hunter (NOT A SPORT HUNTER), and have a Federal Firearms License. I have many guns. I have an Ak-47, and no, it has not gone on a rampage. It takes a criminal to make it do that. Enforce the laws you have, and leave the law abiding people alone to defend themselves, feed themselves, and do what they wish to do without harming others.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : The 9/12

I am 35 years old, and had to say it every day, "under God" and all. I am an atheist, and have no problem saying it today. To me, God is a general term for my beliefs. It works. I think that it should still be pledged everyday in schools. As an aside, I take part in Cowboy Action Shooting, and we say the pledge, before the flag, every time we meet. Its an awesome thing to see. Full grown adults, children, christians, atheists, everyone there, all pledging allegiance to a common cause. RT

I am also an atheist. BUT, I am one that dont care what my neighbor believes. I believe in what I believe in, and that is my freedom to do so. I will not tread on other peoples religions, just as I dont wish them to tread on my beliefs. This country was founded partly on religious beliefs, and I am absolutely fine with that. I even like it to be on our money. It is not offensive to me, it is part of our heritage and history. I think that religion has a lot to offer, as far as ideas, the ten commandments, do unto others as they would do to you, etc. I just dont see that it is a religion that tells me to do these things. I just do them, because it is the right thing to do. So, Florida1, come back in, and stay awhile. I am. RT

I think sheeple is a good term for them, not cattle. I like to eat cattle. Sheeple, I think, would taste awful bitter. This reminds me of my sister in law. Nice girl, fresh out of college, 22 years old. We got in a debate about the election. I asked her flat out why she voted for B-Ho. She said it was because she was helping make history, by electing a black man. Now, I am not a rascist at all, and I have friends of many colors, BUT that is NO reason to vote for someone. I have a feeling that there was a lot of this "thinking" going on with our young people that voted for the first time in their young lives. They should have been looking at facts, past voting records, and the like. The Sheeple just followed one another along and made history.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Organize This through 4/27

I agree with the take back the vote ideas. I think we need to have an actual vote count instead fo the electoral college. Make every vote TRULY count. I think that the citizens of this great country should take it back, and give We, the People, new meaning. I am sick and tired of most of the people in this country relying on everyone else to take care of them. The town I live in is probably 80% immigrant (hispanic, somalian, sudanese, etc), and it is amazing to me when I go to the store, and they buy with food stamps. Then they go get in their Cadillac Escalade, and go home. Its darn frustrating, as to why this happens. Its not just the immigrants doing that though. Its any person that feels the government will take care of all, and lets them. We need to stop LETTING the government take care of us. Take care of yourself first. If your hungry, plant a garden, and try some good old fashioned work. Sorry this kind of rambled around. Thanks. RT
