Oh god, I hate this! I used to get stopped all the time, it was ridiculous. Once or twice I just told them I was Japanese and it worked. One time I was totally ambushed, like physically. I ran away into a combini and they waited for me outside! I was pissed, and told them something about me being Japanese and that this was fucked up, and surprisingly they let me go.

Come to think of it, it hasn't happened once since coming to Osaka.

Phew! I started reading this on my morning commute, then tried to read some more on my commute to the other campus I had to go to, and then realized "fuck it" and decided to just read this when I got home. Long post! But I got through it. My attention span must be getting shorter or something, I can only read short posts these days. Anyway I agree, blogging and getting things off your chest is awwwwwesome, seriously awesome, so keep doing it (I know you will)!
