A slap to the face is an insult, a provocation to violence, to which we are told to turn the other cheek. An attempt to kill or cause serious bodily harm is to be met with the level of force/violence necessary to stop it.

If we value and seek to protect innocent life as we are instructed, we must defend it even if it requires sending the would-be murderous to God's judgment to do so. Some would have us believe a slap to the face and a sword swing to the neck are the same for nefarious purposes, and some decent folks will oblige them by innocently confusing the two. It doesn't take long to set the latter straight

I wouldn't put feeding our Tier 1's (who they have always regarded as 'the enemy') to the enemy beyond this administration, but getting our military to off loyal Americans highly unlikely.

If they were just hanging on to the ropes, but once they step off they are falling, which is why it's called "fast roping." The only weight on the helo is from the friction of their hands, and that's nowhere near their weight (plus their gear). I've heard it from fast ropers and helo pilots long before this incident, and this wouldn't be the first time people have been seriously injured or killed that way.
