Blue painter's tape is insufficient to block the information. Komo has posted enough data to steal this kid's identity.

1. If there are true honorable men around you shouldn't have too. Just like holding the door open it is part of being a man. Then again today's concept of being a man is vastly different than when I grew up. Honor seems to be a misplaced value. 2. As do most men, yet men have little recourse. Once the accusation is out in the media it takes on a life of its own. It destroys them all for the woman's sick little amusement. 3. These men should know better and fall to the bottom of the same category. 4. So you are saying that "Ooops my bad" is a viable excuse for destroying a man's life? Sadly, the law doesn't afford the men the ability to recoup losses for a mistaken identity. A crying heart doesn't pay the bills or feed the man's family.

You totally missed the point. I was raised to not hit a woman. It didn't matter why you don't hit them. I was taught by my wife that hitting with words can be just as damaging as hitting with fists. I don't need my male parts to rape a woman. Yes, some women use the power of rape laws to victimize men. Not all but enough to cast the shadow of doubt upon unsubstantied claims. So what happens to those men that have had their lives upended, reputations destroyed, and have been publically humilitated? They have no recourse other than to be found innocent. Yet, once in the media and on the internet the damage is done.

Because so many lie about being raped to either garner attention or some other gain. A female cries rape with no other proof than her word. Even the casual crime show watcher knows about rape kits. In order for a male to defend himself against a false rape claim he must literally prove she is an untrustworthy liar. He must essentially psychologically rape her in public on the witness stand to the point no one will ever believe a word she says. Few men would be willing to destroy a woman in that manner. Men are supposed to protect women. It is what we are designed for.

ALL dems are not evil just as ALL Repubs are not evil. Sadly the good ones in both parties are easily squished, negated, and relegated to menial roles by the evil ones. The voters listen to the evil ones because they speak sweetly as a lover, touch tenderly as a mother, before they touch you like a murderer.

The US has virtually no choice but to spend now, just in order to contain our budget and meet the needs of the 300 million plus citizens of this country There is always a choice. Spending is not what is causing the problem. Government spends money because that is the nature of government. The root problems is that there are too many people deciding to spend money that we do not have. So they go get a loan and dig the Country deeper in debt. They haven't learned that they can not borrow the Country out of debt. meet the needs of the 300 million plus citizens of this country The Citizens of this Country need to meet their own needs rather than relying upon the Government to do it for them.

The predecessor to the modern Democratic party was vastly different than today. Socitial values of the mid-1800's were vastly different than today. This man initiated ethnic cleansing within the US as well as being a slave master. Pres. Jackson adamantly supported individual liberty - a concept in direct opposition to the modern Democratic party. Our current POTUS and Congress continues to advocate subjucation of the Citizen, their individual freedoms and liberties, and massive deficit spending. Anyone who has taken an Econ100 class at least understands that one can not borrow one's way out of debt. Yet our Government continues to do this on a massive scale. Change will take a massive shift in paradigms such that a third party can rise up and take control. Change may even require the dissolution of Congress as we know it today.

Depending on your definition of success the current system may be failing or succeeding. I know kids that are succeeding wildly in rural school districts. I also have watched kids fail miserably in those same areas. Are charter schools the answer? I don't know. They appear to be a good idea. Sadly, the politics from the WEA & Unions would block any attempt to pilot a few charter schools in this state to test the idea. There are charter-like schools in this state already. They are commonly called ALEs. Many are successful on many measurements. But they drain resources from mainstream education in the name of "saving the child" from failing. I can not say that charter schools are the solution but why not give them a try? The current public school system is limping along to the point that, as a whole, it can not meet standards and thus the entire state needs an exemption.

How about a couple of tweaks to the system: 1) All signature gatherers (paid or volunteer) must be legally registered voters eligible to vote in the next election. 2) One (or more) State Representative(s) and one (or more) State Senators must sponsor* the initiative. By sponsor I mean they are on the offical public record saying that they support this initiative just like they do with a bill. These would still allow the initiative process to proceed
