You shoot to eliminate the threat. The officer did so, and should be commended. The dog already attacked another dog, and bit a person, all because the owner was irresponsible. Lady, you should feel bad. Your wrecklessness caused your pet to be killed. I hope you get stuck with vet and hospital bills too, as the other victim seeks medical treatment for the injuries your dog caused. I pay rent, pay hundreds of dollars a month in healthcare premiums for my family, and haven't had dental insurance in well over a decade...and I actually work and pay taxes. If this low-life idiot is demanding free health, dental, and improved living quarters, I'm entitled to a heck of a lot more.
