Survival Cache : SHTF: Women & Sex

This is all extremely valuable information for men as well. Especially if your partner isn't as dedicated to prepping or survival as you are. You will need to know how to adequately provide for them or help them provide for themselves even in areas that most men aren't comfortable. A great read! Thanks Val

Survival Cache : Survival Gardening: Part 2

This is looking great, we've got a good crop of spices ready to go in the ground along with tomatoes, squash, peas, and strawberrys. I need to make better use of my plot though, perhaps another area of garden?

Survival Cache : 8 Lessons Learned About Survival Preparedness from Japan's Disaster

I think the problem will be that most don't take lessons from this sort of situation. Because US news outlets are over-sensationalizing the story, it looks more like a movie than something to be learned from. I think that some will see this for what it is but the vast majority will go on believing that it can't happen to them, to their town, city, whatever.

The Survival Mom : 6 Common Myths about Preppers

This was a great post! Its hard describing what I do to most of my friends. When I survivalist, they picture the guy standing on the corner in full jungle fatigues with a semi-automatic weapon and a sign reading "THE END IS NEAR" Its hard to convince people that this isn't about waiting in a bomb shelter for the end of the world, it's prepping in case something does happen (large or small). Preparedness is the goal, not a life consumed by fear of the end.

Survival Cache : 5 Dollar Preps - Fishing Gear and First Aid

It's a good idea to have both a bait method and a fly method. Since for pan fish, I've most often had better results with bait. But I definitely agree that for streams, a caddisfly pattern would probably do you very well.
