(continued from earlier message)... This is what I will be asking my Congress to act upon, and while it is not comprehensive, it is steps in the right direction with measurable outcome:
Dear (Senator Name / Rep Name);
Many thousands gathered on April 15, 2009 to voice discontent with the state of the union and the direction of our Federal Government. The United States Constitution begins “We the People”, and the people want fiscally responsible, good-sense change.
We the People expect fiscal responsibility, strong foreign policy and accountability for results. Please ACT to correct these issues:
1) Endeavor to repeal the 2009 Stimulus, and Omnibus, in favor of spending neutral bills. No Pork – Period.
2) Replace the current Tax Code with EITHER a consumption-related “Fair Tax” or a simple two-tier "Flat Tax" with NO EXEMPTIONS.
3) Reject any budget that does not decrease spending by at least 2.5% annually… Period! No Exceptions, EVER!
4) Medical System Costs. Reform Tort to drive out the high level of frivolous litigation and subsequent expensive bureaucracies.

Good Morning... Yesterday, we experienced outstanding show of what it means to be a citizen of The United States of America. I am truly impressed by the attendance, and can't wait to see the compiled estimates!
While the body politic and media will downplay the impact, rest assured that our Senators and Representatives were paying attention. Now that the "show" of will is past tense, the next phase of our duty as Citizens is at hand, and it is a simple task for each and every one of us... Communicate Expectations... Communicate expectations so that the media and the government have solutions to act upon and to which be held accountable.
Today, I will be posting letters to my representatives, both State and Federal, and I suggest you do the same. Be clear, be peaceful and polite; be heard! (See next message)
