I do feel it's my solemn nerd duty to point out, however, that this is inconsistent with the xenomorph life cycle. Eggs are laid by a queen. Said eggs then produce facehuggers, which impregnate hosts. The resulting "chest-burster" grows into a mature xenomorph, displaying certain genetic traits of the host.

And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go thank my wife for the fact that, despite the fact that I can type the above paragraph, I actually get to have sex on a regular basis... :P
