I agree, it would have been nice to have the rats on his coat painted. Still, this is a great line of figures. Lots of villains and the different versions of the Turtles make this a great line, especially for kids. Very reminiscent of the original line from the 80's. My son loves these figures.
When I originally saw these I thought there were different sized pieces that you could stack, not 1 big piece. The gap in the middle when stacking them long ways bothers me. I also can't believe the lack of multiple peg holes. Not impressed. Not much effort went into these stands. They should be better than this.
I'd say "fan involvement" has been one of the really nice things about this line. With all the customizers out there, Mattel answering fan questions, the create-a-character fan contest, and the fact that Power-Con rose up right at the peak of this line.
Anyone know where I can get some figure stands for these new Star Wars 6" Black Series figures?
Excellent review! The lightsaber hilt seems a bit too rubbery for my liking. When you have Luke posed holding the saber with 2 hands you can see the hilt bending in his hands. I will have to investigate the lightsabers myself since I have yet to open my case of Wave 1 figures that arrived yesterday.
Anyone who loves 80's cartoons should buy this. It is a very high quality magazine. I'm hoping the reprint of issue #2 gets enough pre-orders too.
I'm not too sure about this being it's own console, but its definitely cool. I'm sure that there will be a Star Wars themed version coming soon from Hasbro.
