Breitbart.com : Federal gay marriage ban is ruled unconstitutional

Actually, it's not Medieval at all.... But to the point, I find it interesting that you choose Christianity as your protagonist. Of the major religions, can you find one more tolerant?

Because calling it marriage would be forcing their views on a group that rejects gay marriage. I'm starting to think that you're not interested in equality, but more interested in the destruction of a religious institution.

I love the article, but I believe that Mystery Hill is located in Salem, NH. http://www.stonehengeusa.com/ I've read America B.C. by the late Barry Fell and it's an outstanding book that focuses on this subject.

Yet you can't proclaim tyranny of the majority to forward an agenda that many believe is criminal. Take abortion as an example. Do you want partial birth abortion legal so that the unreasonable minority of people who support it are protected? Where do you draw the line? When are the majority protected?

Now that it's proven that the only warming was in Al Gore's pants, lets get on with the business of trashing cap and trade. Why is the US president so intent on liquidating the collective wealth of the U.S.?

"The federal government not being able to do its job is not a reason for thousands of Louisianians to lose their jobs," Jindal said. Well said! I can't help but feel that Obama is trying to cripple any presidential aspirations that Jindal may have. This is who Obama is to me - someone who puts his personal interests before his countries.

I disagree. I think it's the other way around. States rights is an argument when it favors the left. Roe v. Wade comes to mind. Healthcare comes to mind. Why is it that the left must use the courts instead of the electorate to further their cause?

That's saying something." I wonder what is so extreme? Adhering to the Constitution? Lowering taxes? What heretics!

You're missing the point - no one cares what a gay couple is doing - as long as you don't try to impose your values on the overwhelming majority that doesn't want any part of it. Marriage is a sacrament. If you want to live together, do it, but don't call it marriage. We value that tradition as a bond between a man and a woman.

From wikipedia: One of the oldest known and recorded marriage laws is discerned from Hammurabi's Code, enacted in ancient Mesopotamia (widely considered as the cradle of civilization). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage#History So, the cradle of civiliaztion deems marriage between a man and a woman. English common law deems marriage between a man and a woman. For most reasonable folks, marriage between a man and a woman is a foregone conclusion. Man on man, woman on woman is anything but marriage.

Even some religious sects have become politically active. It's like pedophiles infiltrating the Catholic Church - it's not the message of the Church but some criminals operating under a guise...

As long as the relationship is between two consenting mature adults, the gender is irrelevant. True, but you're arguing about extending a religious sacrament to homosexuals. Marriage is a sacrament. Go have a union.
