Thank you iPhone Dev Team, Chronic Dev Team and all the others who helped. I just did it :) This was awesome teamwork and I hope you enjoyed it. I'm glad those (insert any swearword) nitro-guys won't make much money now. It's their own fault charging for software which should be free. You had to react (maybe we have to thank them too ;P) and now you're making our life better. Maybe I will miss the tethered reboot a bit :D Again, thank you very much!

the dev team is working on yellowsn0w and redsn0w. only a few members are working on the ipt2g jailbreak. and btw. if the next iPhone generation will use a similar protection scheme a lot of people will be happy that they gained experience while working on redsn0w

it's no speculation. The ipot2g has broadcom chip in it (http://www.broadcom.com/products/Bluetooth/Blueto...which supports not only wifi but also bluetooth and FM! It should be possible to get it working on the ipodt2G but I doubt the iPhone dev team will work on that. there is another group of hackers working on the bluetooth function on the iPhone 3G. Their project is called bluesn0w (google and you'll find a lot of information). maybe they will look into it some day

no, because there is no driver for bluetooth. someone would have to unlock the bluetooth function and then build a driver for it

for the users who are reqesting it now: maybe you haven't noticed but the recovery tool is for Mac OSX. MuscleNerd used a MacBook to run it. So even if he would release it it would be useless for most of you because it won't work on windows. so stay patient till they are finished and then all iPod touch 2g users can have fun.

How about disabling comments here so you actually can work on the jailbreak instead of taking care about spammers and fakes?
