Big Hollywood : Daily Gut: Bill Maher's Not Himself Anymore

That's kind of like saying "Chris Matthew's ratings are good for MSNBC." When your overall ratings are about as high as that nasty ring in the bottom of a truck stop toilet... A turd that floats at the surface, is still a turd, and still in the toilet.

I don't think that I'm far off of the mark when I say that Gufeld's "ratings" are a good deal higher than Maher's. As for Obama... Well making Maher completely irrelevant is perhaps one of the ONLY positive things that he has done - even if unintentional.

Big Hollywood : Redistributing the Media

Not really surprising. They've been testing the waters for a while now. With the majority of Congress signaling that "Fairness Doctrine" would die a painful death on the floor... the liberal powers that be have been getting creative. We'll have to keep a vigilant eye on this or they will slip it through the cracks virtually unnoticed.

"chasing punch lines that - without the cushion of his moronic studio audience - land with a revealing thud." Nice! I wish I had thought of that clever line when I blogged my response to his diatribe today. It's a true enough statement. Even being the liberal mouth piece that he is, long ago I enjoyed his show. I could at least laugh at some of the gags -- they WERE funny. Now, not so much. He hasn't been funny in quite a while, really. Nothing but vitriol.
