Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 5/4/09: GOP Begins Re-Branding, But Will It Work?

Ever notice that when there is a coup in another country, the first thing the rebels do is take over the media (radio, TV, paper, etc.)? That has happened in the United Socialist Alliance (USA). There has been a coup - "progressives" (read: communists - well, at least socialists) have taken over. Capitalism is villified, major corporations (energy, manufacturing) are nationalized, and "workers of the world" are uniting. This has been greatly aided by the main stream media. The real frustration is I don't think there is a dang thing we can do about until and unless the unwashed masses become disenchanted with socialism/communism. Right now, and for the forseable, the masses have been convinced to be disenchanted with capitalism. Also, racism is alive and well in the USA. CNN reports 96% of blacks are delighted with Obama and 0% are not happy with him. That can only be due to his race and the racism of blacks. As a voter in Washington DC once said regarding the re-election of Marion Berry (coke addict, whore monger, bribe taker), she thought it was better to have a crooked black man as mayor rather than an honest white man. THAT is racism. The Messiah is a shoo-in for a second, four year term REGARDLESS of what he does or how well he does it. In fact, I suspect he and his progressives in Congress might amend to the constitution to allow life appointment for President, or at least unlimited terms. Or maybe they will simply do away with elections, completely and the Party will appoint government officials. Think it couldn't happen? If so, call me.. I have a car I want to sell you.

I don't have any brilliant ideas of what to do with the Gitmo scumbags; but I sure hope our military has learned one, big, huge lesson from the whole experience: DON'T TAKE PRISONERS!

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 5/5/09: Iraq Sets A Deadline For US Troops To Leave

We didn't invade Iraq to bring "freedom" to them. We invaded for a succession of reasons... the first was Sadam had WMD's (like, yeah, who doesn't? guess we should be invading Egypt, China, etc.?), then it was something about Sadam sponsoring terrorism (like, yeah, what mid-east country doesn't? Pakistan? Saudi Arabia?), and only the last reason was to help our little bestest, warm and fuzzy little buddies, the people of Iraq who were "yearning to breathe free" (and stoning women who showed too much ankle). Shift to nuclear power, develop our own natural resources (oil, coal), and diminish (even eliminate) our need for foreign oil. Without concern for continued oil supply from that area, I for one could not care less about the people of Iraq, Pakistan, Kissmyassistan, etc. Did we learn nothing from Viet Nam and Korea? Bring our troops home.

Good post. We haven't fought a war with the goal of destroying the enemy since WWII. Since then, we fight to bring the enemy to a "negotiated settlement", and those never last. At this point, I would not trade the life of one more GI for the "freedom" of all Iraq citizens. Besides, IIRC, we didn't invade Iraq to make the citizens free. We invaded because Sadam supposedly had WMD's (and like, who doesn't?). Anyway, goot post. If you're going to fight, fight until the opponent is crushed... otherwise, stay home.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 5/1/09: As The World Flu Level Increases, Mexico Says Infections Are Slowing

Thirty thousand people die from the "flu", every year. As of yesterday's news, seven have died of confirmed swine flu, and those typically because they did not have medical treatment in time or they were infirm/weak to begin with. Just a little perspective for all you who are freaking out. Hey, we survived the bird flu, right? I actually knew a guy who took down his bird feeder from his deck during the peak of the bird flu panic. Guess he thought a Sparrow might zip down and sneeze on him. Remember, as it says in Proverbs 10 to the 20th power: "Verily, let it be known throughout the land that we must keep our eyes on the Sparrow!" So, anyway, do as VP Biden suggests and just hide in your taped-shut closet for a couple of weeks and you'll be fine. My real concern is rumors of a virulent strain of influenza called the Chameleon Flu. It is said that with immediate medical attention, victims have an excellent survival possibility with full recovery. The problem is the victims turn the same color as their background/surroundings, making them nearly invisible from searching medical care-givers. Researchers are able to identify the Chameleon Flu by releasing several flies in the same room as a suspected flu victim, then measuring the distance the victim is able to project his tongue in a lightening-fast, fly catching slurp. (The record, to date was 7 feet.). Well, think I'll tune in Glenn and see if he cries, today. He hasn't cried on air for a long time... hope he's OK.

Poor baby. I bet it hurts his tender little shoulder to shoot that AK47. I'm starting to think Russia has the right idea for dealing with these scum.
Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 4/13/09 - On Obama's Orders, Navy Seal Snipers Free American Sea Captain

If some nation's navy is to patrol these waters, let it be someone OTHER than that of the U.S. I am so sick of my country being expected to provide military protection for other countries, only to have them criticize and scold us for the slightest misstep. Hey, let the French Navy defend against pirates (if he isn't on vacation). The USA (United Socialist Alliance) is broke... we can't afford to defend other country's ships, especially by invading yet another country to destroy pirate stronghold harbors and ports ( WE'RE BROKE, ALREADY!). As for Comrade O approving the use of force... what political choice did he have? Even his supporters (the ones that still have a functioning brain) would blanch if he showed softness and sympathy for the pirates. They are already getting pretty grinchy about Boppin' Barry's support of the wire tap laws initiated during Bush, and they fact that BO has not pulled our military out of Iraq. Hey Bama Babies... how's that "hopenchange" workin' out for ya?

Huh... sounds like what Republicans used to say about the Socialist's criticisms of Bush. By the way, there is no such word as "irregardless". It was originally a slang term, coined in the 1920's and has over the years become considered appropriate and correct - but it isn't. Finally, The Chosen One had no choice but to (finally) green-light the use of force in the pirate/hostage situation. Even his supporters would have blanched had he shown any sympathy or "softness" toward the pirates. Well, MOST of his supporters... not you, surely, because you probably would support him "irregardless" of his actions (like approving the "phone tap" laws initiated by Bush or staying in Iraq and Afghanistan). I suppose you would worship this man no matter what he does. How's that "hopenchange" workin' out for you?

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : 4/12/09: Negotiations Break Down in Standoff With Pirates

Well, since we are becoming a communist state anyway, why not emulate Russia's approach to hostage negotiations. I don't remember the details, but some years ago, some Russian diplomats were taken hostage and the demand was for an exchange for some prisoners held in Russian prisons. The Russians agreed and began sending the prisoners piece by piece (a foot, a hand, an ear, a finger with a wedding ring, etc.). All the Russians that had been taken hostage were released, immediately. I guess Russia decided that it would not be possible to get other countries and terrorist groups to "like" Russia... but they would sure as heck FEAR Russia. So, despite The Chosen One's hope to get other countries to give us big, wet tongue kisses, maybe we should just settle for being feared. Send a midnight Seal raid ashore, capture about 20 Somalians, take them to within a hundred yards of the lifeboat and slowly start shooting them, one per hour, until the Capt. is released. But, I know, I know... we might make the Somalians not "like: us. I doubt if they "like" Russia, either, but I notice not many are willing to take Russian hostages, anymore. Instead, Hillary Broad-beam says the pirates are criminals. As such, I presume they would have to be read their rights before we could politely ask them to surrender. Also, the ACLU would rush to their defense, they would be offered book and movie deals from Hollyweird, and ultimately sue the USA (United Socialist Alliance). I miss my country, and I wish I could have it back.

It is beginning to appear that Comrade Obama does NOT plan on pulling out of Iraq (or Afghanistan) by 2010 (or did he say 18 months... 19 months?... 2011?... whatever). Gosh, does that mean he defeated McLame by ... shudder,.... dare I say it?,,,, LYING?
I'm still trying to figure out how the crew who "took back their ship" from the terrorists managed to "lose" their captain. Why would the captain volunteer to be a hostage to save his crew and ship if the crew had already taken back the ship? I think there are a lot of details missing in the accounting of this story. As for the pirates, I'd make it clear that if the captain were killed, they would be killed; AND, Seal teams would seek out the families (wives and kids) of the four pirates and kill them in their sleep. I would also make it clear to the pirates that if the captain were released, they could go home unharmed - and as soon as the captain was aboard our Navy ship, I'd let the Navy crew practice their small arms skills riddling the life boat and twitching bodies of the pirates until there were only flecks of pink foam on the water. But, hey, that's just "me".

There are lots of socialists and communists in Congress. And guess what, they are in charge! They have the Presidency AND the majority vote! I don't think most folks realize there has been a quiet but HUGE revolution in the political structure and ideology of the USA (United Socialist Alliance). Not a shot fired, and just like that the gov't is taking over the banks and major corporations. Next, they'll be putting up 10' razor wire fences around the local drive-in theaters. WOLVERINES! So, are you thinking we can "get our country back" after the next elections? Who says there will BE elections?

ARRRRRrrrrrrr! Sorry, it just had to be said. Can someone 'splain to me how the crew retook the ship, but the pirates won? ARRRRRrrrrrr, DANG! SORRY! So, the crew defeated the pirates, but the pirates lowered a lifeboat into the water and politely asked the US Ship's skipper to join them as they bobbed around in the ocean? The pirates get a lifeboat and a hostage (who volunteered to save his crew), even though the US crew had already defeated the pirates? Hmmm... nope, no matter how you say it, this smells funny. If the crew defeated the pirates, the crew didn't need saving by the capt, right? I mean, I'm just saying... something doesn't quite work in this story.
