There has been a debate about whether they can send you to jail if you don't buy. If the IRS can levy a fine and then come after you if you refuse to pay the fine, then it seems like they can end up putting you in jail if you don't buy health insurance. Personally I have health insurance at work, but if this all comes to a head I am tempted to drop it just to force the IRS to try to squeeze blood out of this turnip. I know, cutting off my nose to spite my face and all that. Probably would not do so, but I would seek to prevent the fact that I have insurance from being reported to the government since it is none of their business.

Seems like I have heard of an old curse that goes something like "May you live in interesting times." Maybe we can start like an office pool taking bets on whether this representative or that senator will not be reelected next November. ► Reid? ► Pelosi? ► Barney Frank? ► Chris Dodd? ► Max Bacus? ► Boxer? ► Schumer? ► Lincoln? ► Landreiu? ► Nelson? ► Hoyer? I am not sure on the senators who is up for reelection next year.

Is anyone else having trouble posting because what you really want to say would be inappropriate for this forum, but your parents raised you to have more class than that? I guess all I can say right now is: AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!! GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Ted has a place near Jackson, Michigan. I met his daughter a couple of times several years ago. Nice pretty girl. Married now. Don't know that I would want Ted as my father-in-law. I am just not that in to killing things with my bear hands. lol

Well, if this is where it is going, I would recommend more secure communications. Have you ever heard of PGP (Pretty Good Privacy)? This is an encryption system that allows you to encrypt communications so that you can read it but no body else can. Can it be broken? Sure, probably. But the last I knew, it was not an easy break. It operates on the public key principle. You create a set of keys, one public and one private. The public key is passed around and even placed online at a key server where everybody can get it. This public key is used to encrypt data to be sent to you. The private key you hold close to the vest. While the public key will encrypt data, it will not decrypt. To decrypt the message or file, you need the private key, the one that only you have. There used to be free versions of PGP that they distributed over the years and you might be able to find them someplace. I have not checked to see if the free versions are still available from PGP. Their website is <a href="http://www.pgp.com" target="_blank">www.pgp.com

Suzie, when they can't challenge you on the merits they resort to namecalling. Of course that does not mean that it would not be fun to visit their house and let them know that patriots travel in groups and you hit one of us you hit us all. I have had the same sort of thing mailed to my home from a fellow employee, many years ago. I just pitied them. But this moron is going to gag on his own bile. It is a badge of honor, but nobody likes to have that kind of sludge thrown at them. By the way, it also means that you are doing something very, Very, VERY , VERY right. Keep up the good work.
