You do understand that the comment sections underneath articles are for commenting on that specific article. So maybe save your Ron Paul comments for a Ron Paul article.

You might want to sit down, I have some heart breaking news to tell you. Santa....is not real. If you want to call what the mom in the above ad is doing lying, fine, but then telling you kids that Santa leaves them presents is just as much a lie.

So when you tell your kids a lie it is good because it teaches them to give to others (strangely enough I've found that telling kids what I believe to be the truth about Jesus teaches them to give to others), but when a liberal tells their kids a lie that also has a positive result it is bad? fascinating logic.

Wtf are you talking about? Where do you get that I'm a communist or socialist?
Maybe if people didn't always play the usual political game where you immediately disagree with all things not your party we could get some things accomplished in this country. In other words it is hypocritical to pin Michelle Obama in a negative light with this initiative when all parents have done similar things.

I don't like obama any more than anyone on this site, But I think this is nitpicking. If you think what the lady in the commercial is doing is so bad, then I surely hope none of you (and the author) LIED to your kids about Santa Claus.

Also just about all 1st ladies have had similar initiatives (Laura& Barbara bush and reading/music, nancy Reagan drugs), Michelle Obama choose childhood obesity. Had Laura bush done the same thing Obama is doing would there be this same backlash? I highly doubt it.

No big deal, people make mistakes all the time, but you posted the wrong youtube link. In the link you posted Matt Damon is touting the teachers union lines about how teachers are underpaid (fact they make more than most people) and how there aren't bad teachers (Tenure is an outdated idea and leads to lots of bad teachers keeping their jobs) and we only need more money on education (even though we spend more on education now than we ever have and the results are only getting worse.). Now the crap Damon was spouting, that is half baked and only making matters worse. When the Damon/teacher union/liberal answer to everything is we need more money, you know they are out of ideas but still want the power.
